Hello again everyone.
It was the Ides of March and I was at home trying to work. That means I was browsing the news and reading stories that interested me. Work would come later.
In the course of my browsing, I came upon an article about Grizzly Bears. It seems the government is accepting comments about a proposal to re-introcude grizzly bears to the Northern Cascades. It seems that the grizz population has dropped to as few as 10 bears (in the Norther Cascades … not the entire world). At one time there were a lot more.
The story about the bears mentioned that the number of comments to the government comment site jumped by some 100,000 in just a few days. Credit was given to Matthew Inman, the author of a blog called “Oatmeal” who had called for people to comment. And they did. In great numbers.
I went to his blog and read some of his stuff. And I decided he is funny, and thoughtful and interesting. He is also very creative. One of his recent blog posts is a “How To” about being “Perfectly unHappy”. Who wants to be perfectly unhappy? And if being unhappy was somehow perfect, would that make it less unhappy? So I read his blog post.
“Brilliant!!” I thought. “I will share this with my literarily challenged readers so that they, too, can learn about the intricacies of bing perfectly unhappy. Then all will be well with the world.”
And so, please check out Matthew Inman’s blog about being “Perfectly Happy” on The Oatmeal.com. You’ll be glad you did.

Let me know what you think. I may continue to provide links to his blog posts (assuming he continues to write good stuff). Now its back to “work”.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
